Mark has practised as a solicitor in the field of taxation for 20 years. Prior to joining Rayden Solicitors, Mark spent his career working as a partner in the City, firstly with Biddle & Co which merged in 2001 with national firm Pinsent Curtis and subsequently became Pinsent Masons and latterly with Bryan Cave. In both firms, Mark headed up the firms' London tax practice .

Mark has developed considerable expertise in private client work, including taxation, and one of his roles at Raydens is to assist the family team in dealing with the tax implications of proposed financial arrangements on divorce and separation.

In addition, Mark handles the following:

  • Wills and Lifetime Estate Planning;
  • Probate matters, advising on all aspects of the administration of a deceased’s estate, payment of inheritance tax (and mitigation thereof where appropriate), and distribution of assets;
  • Powers of Attorney

In relation to settling financial arrangements on divorce or separation, Mark will also be able to assist with preparation or review of relevant tax returns, and tax repayment claims to HM Revenue & Customs.

Mark is a member, by examination, of the prestigious tax body, the Chartered Institute of Taxation. He joined Rayden Solicitors in September 2010.
